As part of brand studio, "dreamirror" is a hypothetical project for Kartell, an Italian company renowned for its whimsical contemporary plastic furniture.
This project involves the creation of a line of soft goods that merges conceptual art and functional design.
"dreamirror" challenges our perception of plastic by exploring its materiality and properties. The pillow features a mirror effect combined with dichroic color ( from Greek origin "dikhrōs " (di - twice + khrōs - color ), which means it displays different colors when viewed from different directions.
The "dreamirror" inflatable pillow aims to create a moment of sensual connection and emotional resonance by suspending people's disbelief in everyday life, making them more involved in their imagination and engaged in their daydreams as a space for creativity.
